Things to do in Hesperia!

Hesperia Lake Park

Looking for an escape? Hesperia Lake is open for camping throughout the year. Open spaces and cool clear air make a perfect setting for spending quality time with the family. A variety of sites are available at Hesperia Lake to accommodate RV’s and tent campers. All sites have a picnic table and a fire ring. RV sites will accommodate a vehicle up to 40 feet in length. All sites have electricity and most sites have water. We do not have a dump station. Restrooms and showers are available at no extra charge. Potable water is located throughout the campground.

Hesperia Zoo

Open since 2001, the Hesperia Zoo is home to native, rare and endangered species from six continents. Our goal is to provide a fun, unique and exciting experience for the whole family. With an overall mission to bring people and wildlife together, to promote the welfare of animals, to strengthen the human-animal bond and safeguard the rights of responsible animal professionals through public information and education.

In a world that is amplified and dominated by technology, instant communication and gratification, The Hesperia Zoo is a place where the speed of life is regulated not by deadlines, but by the animals that share our world.

Tucked away on 10 acres in the heart of California's high desert, The Hesperia Zoo is the home of exotic mammals and birds. A charming zoo that is dedicated to educating the whole family about nature's most beautiful creatures.

Lime Street Park & Community Center

The Dog Park is separated into two areas: one for small dogs under 25 lbs. and another for large dogs 25 lbs. and over. Each area has a watering station, access to a pet waste station, and a bench for owners to sit in the shade and watch their dogs. The District has posted Dog Park rules along with Dog Park Etiquette to help park users enjoy their visit.
